Essential Personal Care Visitor

During any prohibition against general visitation, Nazareth Home must permit in-person visitation by at least one essential personal care visitor who is important to the mental, physical, or social well-being of a resident. For protection against communicable diseases, essential personal care visitors must follow Nazareth Home’s health and safety protocols.

An essential personal care visitor is a family member, legal guardian, outside caregiver, friend, or volunteer.

By law, Nazareth Home must provide designated training to essential personal care visitors that includes basic information on infection prevention and control.
