How You Can Help
In December of 2008, Fr. Jerry Eifler, our Chaplain, in conjunction with S. Mary Anne, our Director of Pastoral Care and Mission, invited the families who attend our Sunday Eucharist to participate in our ministries here by including Nazareth Home part of their ‘stewardship.’ Several ways to do that were mentioned: by being present for Sunday Mass, they give their time as a gift along with their prayer; by offering to help with getting residents to and from the Chapel, they offer a needed and appreciated service; by monetary donations, they also contribute to the ministry of pastoral care by helping with chapel expenses, of providing a prayerful environment, etc. All of these gifts of ‘stewardship’ have been given throughout this year. One very special example of the generosity of our residents’ families and those who celebrate with us on Sundays, is the Nativity Scene that is in our foyer this Christmas. It is an outdoor scene and was put inside due to the fact that it now needs a stable to be appropriately displayed outside! A Stable will be ‘in process’ during this coming year and ready for next Christmas. A big thank you to all our families and visitors for contributing so generously. The donations of ‘time, talent, and treasure’ are deeply appreciated by all here at Nazareth Home! THANK YOU!
